Introduction

Wonder World is all about reusing plastic bags and plastic bottles. The effects of plastic bags and bottles on the environment are really quite devastating. Therefore this website is developed.

As plastic bags are durable, low cost, water resistant, lesser energy and heavy chemicals requirements in manufacture and are light weights. Many studies comparing plastic versus paper for shopping bags show that plastic bags have less net environmental effect than paper bags, requiring less energy to produce, transport and recycle; however these studies also note that recycling rates for plastic are significantly lower than for paper. Plastic carrier bags can be reused as trash bags or bin bags. Also, plastic bags are complimentary in many locations but are charged or "taxed" in others . Therefore in Nepal it is widely used but there is no way to strictly limit the effects of plastic bags and bottles on the environment because there is no disposal method that will really help eliminate the problem. The solution to the problem is reusing them.

Wonder World provides tutorials to the customers about how to reuse plastic bags and bottles in their house with easy tricks.

Background

Plastic bags are Cheap, Portable, Water resistance, Low Cost so are mainly used by people worldwide. But these plastic bags are one of the most common types of litter worldwide. Build ups of plastic bags are notorious for causing blockages of local drainage systems in developing countries like Nepal. The floods in Nepal every year is due to blockages caused by this litter. Plastic bags also pose serious health hazards to populations as over time they leach toxic chemicals into drinking water supplies.
Plastic bottles are everywhere you turn. Drinking water, soda, various food products and even condiments come in plastic bottles. While plastic bottles provide manufacturers with a cheap and convenient way to package their products, it is widely used. Plastic bottles contain Bisphenol a (BPA), the chemical used to make the plastic hard and clear. BPA is an endocrine disruptor which has been proven to be hazardous to human health. It has been strongly linked to a host of health problems including certain types of cancer, neurological difficulties, early puberty in girls, and reduced fertility in women, premature labor, and defects in newborn babies.

Being aware of problem mentioned above I have developed this blog. This blog is all about reusing plastic bags. Wonder World provides tutorials to the customers about how to reuse plastic bags and bottles in their house with easy tricks.

Current Situation

Whenever we make a trip to the supermarket, most of the time our groceries are placed inside of plastic bags for us to take home. Most of the bags have handles on them so they are easy to carry. Around 500 billion plastic bags are used on a yearly basis, and most of us use them for our shopping trips. That is a lot of plastic bags being used, so you can certainly understand their importance in our world. The bags are inexpensive, easy to carry and have a multitude of other benefits that keep them the preferred method of handling items.
Plastic is cheaper than other common storage materials, such as glass, metal and wood. Therefore, manufacturing companies uses plastic bottles for storing foods like Drinking water, soda, and every condiment.

So, plastic bags and bottles are widely worldwide. But people don’t know about its harm so this website is created to protect their health, environment, and world itself from degradation.

Issues/Problem

As we know there are many objections to the banning of plastic bags based solely on their convenience, the damage to the environment needs to be controlled. There is no way to strictly limit the effects of plastic bags and bottles on the environment because there is no disposal method that will really help eliminate the problem. Reusing them is the first step. The best thing is that citizens can do is reuse them. Therefore this blog is developed.
